Hello! Welcome to Fern and Forage, we are so glad you are here. Throughout my life, I have had an intense desire to support others and in my early adult years I realized this could become a vocation. With this desire in mind, I embarked on the journey to become a counsellor.
I offer personalized counseling services for individuals—both adults and youth (ages 13-19)—to address a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, loss, stress, parenting, and life transitions. I specialize in OCD support and perinatal mental health, providing compassionate guidance when you need it most.
No one knows you better than you. My role is to step alongside you and add to your already existing tool kit.

Hi there! I am a counsellor who calls Langley my home. I became a counsellor because I am passionate about empowering others to make changes which would move them towards better relationships with themselves, with others, and with the world around them. My areas of focus include social anxiety, depression, relationship and marital problems, and body image and lifestyle concerns for people in larger bodies. I am passionate about creating a space of exploration and curiosity about you and your situation and look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. My hope is that you leave more deeply aware of your struggles and strengths, and with tools in hand to reduce your difficulties in the future.

Growing up, I saw firsthand how much family support and connection shape the wellbeing of young people. I also saw what happens when those supports are missing. Watching some youth around me struggle without safe, supportive relationships had a lasting impact on me. I saw how loneliness, disconnection, and lack of guidance could lead to painful experiences and decisions that changed the course of their lives.
Those early observations planted a seed that eventually led me into the helping profession.
For over 15 years, I have worked alongside youth and families in the non-profit and public sectors. Throughout that time, I have come to believe deeply in people’s capacity for growth, healing, and change. Even when things feel stuck or overwhelming, new skills can be learned and new patterns can emerge.
My approach to counselling is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I aim to create a space where people feel understood, respected, and safe enough to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. I am especially drawn to trauma work and EMDR because I’ve seen how transformative it can be when people are able to safely process experiences that have felt stuck for so long.
At the heart of my work is the belief that connection matters. When people feel seen, supported, and understood, healing becomes possible.

Hi there! I have always had an interest in what molds us into who we are as unique individuals; life experiences, personality, influences from our environments and upbringing. I have a passion for coming alongside those who are struggling; more specifically, I am very passionate about supporting those walking through grief (loss of a loved one (or fur friend), fertility difficulties, life transitions, etc.). Further, I also offer support with anxiety, self-image difficulties, depression, and mood concerns. My hope is to help you build the life you want for yourself, and reach your desired goals. My approach is working with you as partners to achieve this.
